Many gamers may be yawning at this point at the thought of another match-three-in-a-row game entering the puzzle play genre. Rise of Atlantis, however, tries to put an original spin on this idea through use of historical education about these ancient civilizations that are peppered throughout the game’s entire storyline. The game itself is pretty easy to pick up from the very beginning – players just left-click on tiles to swap them. Tiles disappear if a three-in-a-row match occurs either horizontally or vertically, with other tiles filling in the gaps. An artefact is formed once all of its requisite pieces are liberated through the bottom of the screen. The game level ends once these items are collected. It is game over if the player fails to collect these pieces before time runs out. Constructing an artefact is a major milestone in the game and aids you in helping to recover the lost city of Atlantis.
